Cynoglossum Grande
This is the only truly blue wildflower that I have ever seen in Northern California.
It is not widespread - I have only ever seen this one specimen locally.
It blooms very early in the spring, so some years I miss it entirely. We found it this year, though, and there is a kind of hope in that.
